Mr Prendergast and Mr Robinson’s mammoth MAMIL (middle-aged men in lycra) bike ride.
Two of our staff members are raising money for The Christie.
On Sunday 8th July in intense heat they cycled from Salford Quays all the way to Blackpool, a trip of just under 66 miles which took them 6 hours.

They are still accepting donations to their cause, so if you feel you want to help then please go to their ‘JustGiving’ page.

We encourage all Buile Hill pupils and staff to think of others, each year group has a designated charity and students fundraise throughout the year to raise funds for this.

Year 7 and the LSU are raising money for the Dogs Trust, at Christmas and Easter there have been two ‘fairs’ in the LSU with raffles, cake sales, games and competitions. So far the total raised is over £1200!!

This event was organised solely by children in Y9 and raised nearly £1000 for the National Autism Society as well as to fund resources for the children who are in school who have Autism.

Following the Manchester Arena Attack Y10, some of whom were at the Ariana Grande concert, hosted their non uniform charity day on 24th May.
