Buile Hill Academy is at an exciting stage of its growth and development. Having recently joined the school as Headteacher, I am inspired and motivated by the energy and dynamism of the staff and students in our school community and am confident in its future improvements.
Year 8 boys took part in a Manchester United Foundation football competition, all the boys were fantastic and finished 2nd behind a very good Co-op Academy North Manchester. https://t.co/lD8gI3GKu2
Excellent to see rugby back on the pitches at school as we welcomed 12 different schools for a Y8 rugby tournament hosted by Salford Reds. Great to see! https://t.co/1fDVH78Ijk
Well done to our Y8/9 girls football team who took on St Ambrose last night. A very close game that could have gone either way, however unfortunately St Ambrose scored in the final few minutes. A great effort by all ⚽️ https://t.co/07f6bgyoLU
Y7-10 Netball were in action yesterday practising their skills with over 30 girls in attendance, well done girls. https://t.co/AMntAIhkNW
Welcome to the
At Buile Hill Academy, we endeavour for all our students and staff to strive to achieve their 'personal best' and have 'no excuses' in their approach to school.
We have strong links with our partner primary schools, meaning when students arrive they are already familiar with many of our teachers and have often visited our site before formally joining us.

For GCSE results day 2023, and at Buile Hill Academy, Ellesmere Park High School, and Moorside High School, communities are coming together to celebrate students’ achievements.
The results received today are a testament to the hard work and commitment Salford students have shown during their time at secondary school, and they will go on to help them shape their future choices, whether that’s further study, an apprenticeship or training in the workplace.
This year saw a normal exam season after the turbulent years of the pandemic, and challenges remain in schools across the country. In recognition of this, the exams regulator Ofqual asked exam boards to consider the impact the pandemic continues to have on students.
Staff at the schools, all part of Consilium Academies, have gone over and above to support their Year 11 students, preparing them academically as well as emotionally to sit their exams. This includes targeted intervention, workshops during holidays and “last drop” sessions for students, as well as sessions for parents to ensure they understood the importance of working in partnership with students and parents.
